Yucca guatemalensis [Maya Tree Yucca]

Native to Guatemala and Mexico this impressive, slow-growing plant, is perfect for a busy home and easy to care for. The Maya Tree has one single thick trunk which is adorned with superb strap-like leaves which give great architectural appearance. It is also considered as one of the top air-cleaning indoor plants.

Although drought tolerant, you should still water it in spring and summer when the soil feels dry. Reduce watering in winter. Remove dead leaves by pulling them away from the plant. They prefer a bright spot.
