This fascinating and easy to care for succulent is native to South Africa, where it grows in dry shrub-land and rocky areas. It’s upright stems may flower with deep purple, bell-shaped flowers, if grown in the perfect conditions. 

The plant prefers bright light. Allow the soil to dry out before watering and feed once a month from spring to autumn.
