The Elephant Bush, also known as Spekboom, is an easy-care succulent that can grow to incredible heights. It is similar in look to the Jade Plant but more hardy and faster growing.

Portulacaria is a genus within the Didiereaceae family and they are commonly known as Elephant Bush because they are a chosen food source for elephants in South Africa.

Not only are Portulacaria excellent air purifiers, but this succulent is also renowned for it’s medicinal qualities! It is often used traditionally to soothe blisters, sore throats and sunburn amongst other ailments.
